Anybody know anything about the race history of the Suzuki T500. Circa Late '60s early '70s. Rumor has it this bike did well on the track. Anyway, I'm helping a buddy restore one. Are there track days/bike show'ish events for these vintage bikes?

I had a 1969 and my best friend had a 1968. I worked in a Suzuki shop at the time. Though the plan was to take it racing, I was drafted two months after I bought it and sold it when I went to Vietnam, so I ended up out of the loop while they were being raced. I do seem to remember them being more succesfull in england than here.
