Not sure if this is the right section to post in, but couldn't find a better place to fit.

Where do you guys go to get vinyl wraps done? I've got a bike with bare bodywork and I'm deciding between doing a cheap paint job in my garage or ordering a wrap and making it look nice. Just wondering who you guys use and trying to get an idea on price.

I'd check with Tea the link above. It's not likely going to compare to a cheap paint job.

However if you're looking to do some crazy intense graphics, fades or other illusions, that would be very labor intensive with paint, then vinyl is the way to go. Wrapping a bike is an art. A large chunk of the cost is labor. If you're up ambitious, get a section and try a fender or tail section.

The auto body supply shop by my house is now doing base coat paints and ANY color into spray cans. I think they're about $15.00 ea. 2 cans will do a whole bike. They now FINALLY have a good clear coat with hardener in a spray can. There are 2 sections in the can. One with clear and one with hardener. You puncture the seal, mix really well and have about 12 hours to use it. I think those are about $22. Again 2 can's should cover your bike well. I've painted two bikes and have been pretty impressed with the results and how well it holds up. It's not as good as perfect mixed auto clear coat with hardener, but it's really darn close! It's easier to apply then a mixed type as well. I haven't had a run yet. It flashes quick. I then add vinyl graphics or partial wraps to areas for accents and sponsor logos.

    Good luck.

I looked into a wrap as well but after seeing the price I decided to put that money towards additional track time. I like the concept of a base coat with vinyl accents as a much more feasible package
