CCW on sunday was a BLAST!!!!!!! 1st time running ccw, 25+ riding cw. holy crap, what a totally new fun track. Monty, please have more single ccw weekend dates next year. i wish i wasnt so exhausted form running all say saturday, as i packed it in after the 5th session. i didnt have anything left in me to safely ride.
CCW is the SH_T Totally agree. That track is an absolute riot CCW. Wheeling down the hill is a blast, and the track flows so good. Turn 3 is a lot more fun. I love it. More, we want MORE!!!!!!
snobuny, and i agree, we need more ccw days at grattan. maybe sunday aug 2nd switch to ccw? HMMMMMMMMMMM??? food for thought. ski
I agree - CCW was an absolute blast! First time in "I" group so I think I had more fun moving up either way. By the way, sorry if I slowed anyone down - still learning! One of the sessions I had a tank slap really bad going over the hill and am now looking for a damper... How about September CCW? :wink:
i did have a nice wheelie over the hump that woke me up. lol cant wait to get back out there and tear it up again. and T3 (off camber) is really different. never did a turn quite like that turn.
they may happen from time to time. going the normal way (CW), ive had them juat after T8 (the bowl) coming over the hump before the kink. ive also had them (CCW) just before the kink after the bus stop. somewhere theres a small little bump that i hot every time and had a small tank slapper. and i do have a steering damper on my track bike.
I've never had it happen before (knew it would sooner or later) and just haven't made the purchase yet - but definitely started looking now. I know it won't stop it all the time, but will help...
Grattan is a cheap track to rent too right? All tracks are more expensive on the weekends.... but it is probably a schedule thing with competition with cars.
Good call, the CW/ CCW running order was not shown when I ordered. However, the fines folks at STT have switched me to Sunday so that I may partake in the counter-clockwise goodness.
who all signed up for sunday? lynne and i will be there. i even signed up to ride this time. i'll be on the yamaha supermoto in intermediate. i think another kawi supermoto will be there as well. looking forward to some fun ccw style. ski
