I saw lots of STT tshirts out there this past weekend. Mad props to all of ya for making a great showing!! We had fantastic weather and suprisingly few wrecks and ambulance rolls for a race weekend. Both of the 600cc sprint races managed to run their entire 10 laps without a red flag! A rare treat! This was my first race weekend were red flag delays didn't cause the later races to be cut short a few laps to fit them all in. Cudos to everyone out there this weekend! I had a great weekend placing 9th in all three of my races. I had a fantastic battle with a friend of mine in the third race where he and I swapped 8th and 9th place repeatedly. '06 R6 vs '02 R6. So much fun! And despite him taking the lead in the end I had a huge smile on my face and we were patting each other on the back throughout the victory lap.
I really wanted to come up there Sunday but we were at MidOhio Saturday and everyone was too drained to drive up. Which remids me, I remember seeing alot of yellow number plates at that track day, wonder why they weren't at the race. Anyway when's the next WERA race up there?
