And in Grattan of all places. http://fox17online.com/2013/08/27/c...cle-trap-faces-stiff-penalties/#axzz2dGOMlQcR
wow.. luckily no one got hurt or claimed from it, i would think involuntary manslaughter could be a possibility if someone got killed from it
Similar to removing a stop sign from an intersection at a minimum I would think - which I think can carry reckless homicide or manslaughter charges with it in the event of a fatal accident or attempted charges if caught without incident (not in any way a lawyer so I could be way off).
It's a link to a news story where someone took what looks like Shipping department plastic wrap (the kind you wrap palattes in) and strung it across a roadway between signs. It appears to have been placed to catch motorcyclists. The Grattan locals have historically been extremely forgiving when it comes to traffic through "town" (if you can call 1 1/2 blocks of residential neighborhood town!) before and after events. The speed limit is 25mph, but largely ignored. It looks like someone finally got fed up. -Tom
This wasn't in the town of Grattan. It was south of M-44 by about 2 miles on Lincoln Lake. The speed limit on that stretch of road is 55mph.
