What is your track bike?

'02 R6. Still missing a bunch of stickers though. I redid the paint job over the winter and haven't gotten around to putting the stickers and little touches on her.

 

What ever I can whore out.

 

Last year i ran my BMW R1100S,



but this year, i've just bought Nate's GSXR 750, which i pick up tomorrow evening!



i'll probably bring them both out from time to time, especially if there's rain in the forecast. the Beemer loves the rain; it's super stable. last fall at BeaverRun i was able to drag my knee on wet pavement. the bike didn't seem to mind at all...

this year, I bought a wrecked f4i that is JUST about back together. Need a few small things, but then its good to go

That has got to be worth at least 2 seconds.

 

1st sportbike was a '04 R1 that I took to the track a month after buying . Tracked it out all year (6 times) but it was a handfull .Sold it late last year . Got fairly fast my 1st year but in '05 I bought a 2000 F4 600 and was immediatly faster .

Now I want something a bit newer

My first track bike was a ZX9r and like Darkside when I rode my 636 I found how I could be faster. Now I have a ZX6rr for the track and love it.

Not me, you must be thinking of someone else. I don't like riding 1000's.

 

01 R6 with very few mods. 520 kit, Micron Slip-on, Resprung forks and shock.

 

That is what I though, but I was thinking of you talking about some new tires that were going to be fun with the new 1000. It must have been someone else my mind is going.

Hopefully I make it to one of days Montie has the new Kaws at. I would like to try the 650r on the track. Almost bought one two weeks ago but got something alittle more comfy for the wife.
