My h20 pump failed and need to find a place for service. I don't want to go to Chicago Cycle Center or Champion...any ideas?

Honestly, most water pumps are just a few bolts and a couple clamps holding the hoses on the pump. You can do the job yourself in about an hour. Get a pump and gasket. A service manual is the best investment besides proper gear. If your down in the city, Theres not many options besides those 2. If you still want a shop to do it, you may have to venture a little bit farther into the burbs.

I'm in Logan Square and am happy to lend a hand with tools and know how. As stated, it's a pretty basic job and a good one to get your feet wet on doing your own maintenance.

    Cheers

if you are south side of the city or south suburbs, go see Ken at superbikesuspension near Joliet. it's not that far of a drive and he does great work.

Drain the coolant first & you won't get your feet wet.
