This will be my first season racing (assuming I try it and like it). Just wondering what other smiling STT faces I'll run into out there? I'll be racing my R6 (only bike I've got) in the meat-grinder class. I can't talk my brother into letting me race-prep his new SV650. It's sitting in my garage for the winter, taunting me, daring me to take it out. LOL.
i might get my license mid-summer and maybe do an endurance race or two... but no serious competion, til i get a race-worthy bike... Lance wow, you weren't kidding about your posting cred, Mary. you might be on your way to setting a one-day post record for the board... slow day at work?
Hehe. Yee of little faith! I have a desk job with dual monitors (all the easier to hide the browsing from the office) and TEN forums on my browser's favorites bar. Work's been REALLY slow lately too.
Still undecided ,WERA or CCS in the midwest . Heavyweight s/s,Unlimited s/s and heavyeight s/b with the 750 .I have a 600 but its all stock Just turned 40 so that opens thing up . a little Montes got so many dates this year its going to hard to pick
I will be out there at a few events. I am currently looking at hitting the Autobahn combined regional/national, a couple regionals at BeaveRun, Grattan, and Nelson, and then the AMA Sports race at Mid-Ohio and hopefully the GNF (qualified the past 2 years but the bike was down for repairs and I was broke from the repair costs both times). Larry
I will be doing the Midwest CCS events this year. It was nice of Montie to add Blackhawk this year, now if we get the date before the race.
CCS Midwest for me as well.. first year racing. I'll be doing as many as possible. I'd like to do some WERA events, too, but I'm not sure I want to pay for multiple licenses just for a few extra events. I'd LOVE to race Grattan but ccs doesnt go there and WERA only has one weekend there so it probably won't be worth it for me. STT days only for me at grattan most likely Now if only I had a job that didnt want me to work most weekends, imagine the possibilities.
Doing pretty well. Race bike is just about ready. Local dealer is installing new bearings in the rear wheels this week, paint has been purchased and bodywork has been sanded. Everything should be painted before Putnam in a few weeks. You going to Putnam? If so I will see you guys there.
