We had a so-so weekend. Saturday was gorgeous, but one of our friends highsided coming out of the museum corner on the third session of intermediate. He landed hard on his shoulder but it's just bruised. We think his left thumb hit the handlebar when he took off and broke a bone. He's getting surgery on Wednesday. The bike crashed like a boss and the armor did its job and the overall damage is minimal compared to what we've learnt to fear from highsides. The most strange thing is that his helmet has a rubber mark three inches wide all across the front. Did anybody see it happen? On a lighter note. We were very disappointed with the new photographers. New locations, framing and -finally- pics taken from behind were refreshing. However, prices were sky high, but most of all, it was their selling policy what we couldn't understand. How in the world can they sell pictures only in print if you only want a handful of them? On Sunday, between the storm and wanting to get our friend back home, we couldn't go see the pictures. Now we can't buy any of them. Their trailer is nice, but I'd rather have the option to buy single pictures in high quality digital formats anytime from home.
US129Photos will be back for the next trackday and with our new way to get customers the pics with letting the customer choose an download we will be doing a lot more rear shots. It is much easier for someone to pick out thier own bike then it is for us and that is why we do not do a lot of rear shots but that is all changed now
