Looks like I'll be there as pit crew on Friday with Kim. Still debating whether to stay for Saturday or race at BHF.
I was gonna go until I looked at the schedule and saw 2 car events and pridmore school. I figure after the car events it'd be safer to ride on Chicago winter streets lol. I'm stoked to try out 2 new tracks ccw & cw. Anyone care to help me out in the mornings on the lines?
I will be there both days, and I would be more than happy to help you with some lines. I am also going to be working with one of the coaches. The track is so much fun. When you pull into the gate, you purchase the garage for the weekend. It is 60.00 for the weekend. You might be able to call and reserve one in advance. Looking forward to meeting you, I believe we have talked several times on other forums but we have never actually met. If I have a conga line behind me then I NEED to go faster. I love helping others learn my favorite track! I highly recommend a track walk on friday night, and then again on sat night to get a look at the all the blind turns and elevation changes. Trust me, it will help as I made the mistake of not walking it my first time.
:thumb: i'll bring the beer for sat night we're prob gonna get a hotel since the ol' ball n chain & my little boy is coming too. appreciate the tow & if i'm there in time to get a track walk in i'm down, if not i'll try to get there early sat morning to try and do it then, that helped me out alot at putnam and i'm sure it would help me there as well.. i catch on quick so hopefully we'll be moving by lunch time
I think the better option here is to ride Grattan, you could always race next month. I heard they might try and re pave 1 & 7 in the next two weeks. I'll inquire more Monday while I'm there.
I am riding in Group "A" I will be in one of the garages. I have a mostly black with a little bit of orange GSXR 750. In the Garage with me will be a Orange and black R6 I try to hang out at the track as much as possible, but my fiance is coming to and we will most likely be staying with my family in GR. And it sounds like she wont get out of work on friday, so we will probably be there sat morning. Even if you dont get to walk it, hook up with me for the first session as its usually fairly relaxed and a lot of people skip it.
If any of the first timers need some help or a tow, I would be more than happy to tow you around in "A" group. I'm not coaching that weekend, but I will be more than willing to help you out.
