I want to run one of these drain valves, but are the legal to run with STT? I know that advance riders are only required to safety wire their bikes, however, as a intermediate rider I just go ahead and wire my bike also.I would safety wire the cap to something to keep it from coming off.
as much as there is not a rule for it there is no way to safely wire that. I wouldn't recommend it. Personally i would say no. it's hollow and id it somehow made contact with the ground it would grind off very fast. You would need to drill the cap to wire it and that would leave oil the check ball to hold oil giving up the secondary seal
