A little something I fabricated with the help of ACE Hardware. Will this pass tech? I have Locktite on all the lower bolts and safety wire on what does not have Locktite. There are also 2 separate safety wire leads on both sides of the camera attaching it to the aluminum mount.

Holy Crap!!! I actually figured out how to post images. But why are the images so small?

How is that camera? That's the torpedo one I have seen on eBay correct?

Kewl , it will pass just fine . You taking video of your butt like Rossi ? :)

BTW , the ATC is a great little camera . I found that using the medium resolution at 30fps setting works out the best . The highest res looks great but at high speeds it tends to drop a few frames and can still look choppy .

What model of camera is this? I'm looking for a decent set-up to take some track footage.

Yes DarkSide41, this was inspired by MotoGP. My hope is that I can see what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong when on the bike. If it ends up being too close (no panoramic lens on this one), I'll just point it backwards and do the same on my brothers bike and we'll just get video of each other that way.

I would like get some footage of my butt though. (although I think I'm getting fat...shhhhh)

looks pretty sturdy. You definitely took your time to mount it with proper hardware. The safety wire is icing on the cake in my book. Tech will have to check it to see if it feels flimsy or not. If it pases, make sure to recheck the tightness of the bolts after you come back into the pits.

Nice job on the mount. I have not seen a setup quite like that one at the track days I've attended this year, but I was looking for a way to do the same thing with my bike. Think I might copy your idea for the mount, looks sturdy with three mount points and nice strong hardware.
I have a camera that I use on the front of my bike, been taking video of friends, but don't know anyone who will take video of me so I don't get the benefit of seeing my body posotion, but that may change after I copy with pride... ;-)
