-paint race plastics - either rattle can or pop for a spray system from harbor Freight -new plugs -have forks and shock renewed (maybe tackle it myself) -valve check -drain water/gas -maybe go keyless -add skidplates to both sides of bike -find a killer deal on boots -sell open 5x8 and get an enclosed trailer any other tips?
The HF $15 spray guns work ok for the price if you have a compressor, I use them all the time. Have fun with your winter projects. I know I'm neck deep into mine :shock:
Winter projects Winter jobs.... 1. Upper/lower fairings and fender are with my cousin to be painted to match the yellow on the back half of the bike as never liked the blue.. 2. Brembo MC and new lines already fitted just need to fit the reservoir and I have at least 4 months to do that... 3. Need to check the valves as have never been done....really not looking forward to doing this and even worse if they need to be adjusted...might have to turn the garage heater on. 4. Would like to Powder Coat rear wheel to match front but that may have to wait until I need to replace the tire. 5. New tires would be nice but can wait for now, warmers arrived for Xmas... :lol: 6. Change oil and put water back in sometime around April.. 7. Watch this year's videos to kill the time until we get to ride again...can't wait.. later[/list]
R-1 All Oil changed... Gas Drained and dried ... New Brake Pads Fluid and new Tires on wheels ...Just need to flush out Rad now and check every bolt top to bottom.... GSXR- All of the above as well.. Just need to flush the Rad and get new Painted Bodywork from Kevin the Poker Shark.... If you guys dont keep your bikes on Battery Tenders I would.... Batteries are not getting less expensive and I had one last over 6 Years using them....
