After spending the last six weekends at the track, it sure feels strange to be home on a Sunday! I've got way more than enough to do around the house to catch up, but mentally I'm bored as hell and craving the track. Thank God next weekend is Autobahn! I am SO not looking forward to this winter....
you're in withdrawal?!?!?! I haven't been out since the mid-july Autobahn dates... (stupid divorce... :x ) weekend after next, Pocono, followed by Beaver Run, the following weekend, followed by Pocono again, followed by yet more pocono, back to lapping the Beaver with STT and who knows after that... time to hang up the leathers for the season, i suppose... I sure hope STT gets more East coast dates next year. I sure do miss the midwest! Lance
I'm jonesin big time. I can't get out till Blackhawk on the 10th (stupid wedding...oh wait honey don't read that). K3, I'm sure I'll see you there!
I have two different sides to my personality. On one extreme I love the tracks and am always constantly seeking a thrill, but then there's the other side of me. The side that takes over every fall. I pretty much live in the woods hunting and fishing all year...............Well, except for the spring and summer when I'm getting my rocks off on the track  . So I always find something to enjoy all year. I will admit I will really get the itch for the track this winter when I can't go though. Good thing is that I can save up ALOT MORE MONEY FOR NEXT YEAR!!!! I still have 4 or 5 more track days coming this year though. So I'm really looking forward to those. I'll be at Autobahn next weekend too.
I know how you feel . I'll be at Barber on the 10th and it's hard to wait . I stopped all of my solo riding on the street so it takes me awhile to get used to hanging off the bike through corners and to get the survival reactions out of my head . After lunch I have usually realized that I'm not on the Busa , she's not on the backseat and there won't be a car across the centerline over the next hill
