I am looking for a set of women's leathers. I am 5'10" and weigh around 125. I have had a hard time finding a suit for my size. I currently wear a Femmoto suit I had lengthened, but it is still a bit short and fairly torn up. I don't have the funds for a custom suit. Let me know!

I'd stay away from Alpinestars stella line if I were you. Doesn't offer the same protection a guy suit does.... I actually ran this by the A* guy up at MotoGP this past weekend. It's true!!! I just wanted to get that in there!!

Anyway, I wear a size 38 Speed and Strength 2.0 suit and I am 5'7" 120 pounds. I had to have 2" removed from both the sleeves and the legs so that might be right up your alley. It's a bit "short" from hip to knee length (or maybe I'm long there!), but I've only worn it about 3 times so I'm still breaking it in. It's not for sale, just passing along my experience!

I am 5'9" and about 125. Wear a Spidi lizard and love it! Its plenty long enough for my frame. I have a 46, its a little big but I have room for padded shorts, knox chest and back protector.

Stay away from the teknic womens suits.....they are really small!

Really? my experience has proven the Astars Stella line to hold up VERY well...the suit and the boots. And I've done my share of crashing. LOL! Just my experience though. Helmets and faceshields are another story. :p

I didn't say it doesn't hold up well, it just simply doesn't offer the same protection as the other Alpinestars suit that are designed for men. Even the lowest end suits. It was a great comparison when they had tons of them at MotoGP all in once place; the A* worker got my attention to "help" another girl for sizing into the stella suit she was looking at and I went ahead and gave them my thoughts on it. The guy said I was right (he had no choice, it's obvious) and that he appreciated my input as the customer and would send those comments up to where it would matter; eh. The stella suits simply don't have all the shock absorbing foam throughout the suit, including the hip area, that the other normal suits have "stock." I'm not even sure the armor is up to par in comparison, it felt flimsy in there. Let me stress I really like their suits and all the protection ("guy" suits only), but my opinion is if they go 90% and offer the product for the ladies, finish it out and give us 100% minimum of what they are giving guys. I currently own the Speed and Strength because I got the best deal ever on it, and while I do believe it could use a few changes here and there, it's not bad at all.

Same issues here - I am just about 5'11" and 155lb, so not quite as tiny as you are but I went straight for a mens suit. I found that most mens suits are too wide in the shoulders or not wide enough in the hips. However, RS Taichi and Held fit me perfectly! I'm not sure what your price point is but you can find a suit in the $1200 ish range that would probably work for you and offer a great deal of protection.

I am currently wearing the Held Race-Evo and love it! I am only at Sportbike Track Gear part time now, but I can offer more help if you need it or you can always give the guys at the shop a call at 888-784-4327 and they would be able to help you out.

I've spent years eyeing that suit but just can't commit because the cost. :(

On another note, I have had two astar stella (1p) suits... I run one as a back-up/rain suit, the other in hanging in the closet completely destroyed beyond repair. I crashed in such a way that I landed on my shoulder and the seam just gave up. The whole armpit got ripped out and I ended up with some sweet road rash to go along with my ruined suit. This was a fluke occurrence probably... but even still... this is why my Dai leathers are my favorites.

Where are you located? Are you going to barber for the ladies day?

I will be down there from michigan and I have a 44 lizard you could try on.....would be willing to sell it if it fits (for a reasonable price and its never been crashed in so is in awesome shape!). My biggest problem was that I could not get my chest protector and back protector in it so I bought a 46 for my knox stuff. It fits great in the length!

We will also be at the dragon sept 3rd to sept 7th if you are close you could give it a try then!

I would love to try the suit. I'm sure we can work something out, as my husband said we live in Birmingham. Any idea on price?
