    Chris,

You were right about Bayliss...3 out of 4 not bad...Although I don't think he will run away with it...

I'm impressed with the 1098's balance this year, the displacement increase has helped. And the Suzuki has showed impressive straight line speed....

Anyone else catch Biaggi's 150mph get-off in Race 2 this weekend?

I'm pretty sure I saw smoke trailing off his leathers before he left the pavement. He was definitely moving at that point on the track.

I'm amazed that he didn't flip upon leaving the racing surface. I also think he's damn lucky not to get hit by that bike, it cartwheeled directly over him!

Yes, he is very fortunate to have walked away from that crash.

I can't help but think, if Biaggi could keep that bike on the track for the full race, he would be pushing Bayliss for the championship lead right now...Even if he would have settled for a solid second place would have put him in a far better position than what he currently has...

Biaggi certainly was moving out when he got pitched. It's going to be a great year of racing.

I think the Ducs are going to get a 3kg weight penalty, not sure if its going to make much of a difference. Good to see the Honda's back up near the front so quickly. Really disappointed in the Yamaha's, I was expecting big things from Corser and Haga, but its still early.

i only caught the first race, but from what a few of the racers said it seemed like people were having tire issues as far as longevity for the race, etc. I didn't hear what compounds the yami's were running but i know the softer tires were heatin up faster than expected that day.
