My girlfriend is about to do her first trackday in the Novice catagory this coming weekend at Autobahn, and I was wondering if these gloves will be acceptable.

Is that enough wrist coverage? Gauntlet-style?

    I dont think so.

Gauntlet style means they strap over the leathers, up around your forearm.

On the edge of it at best. Be a bummer to find out it is below the edge. Get some better ones and she can still use them on the street also

Yeah we're just poor and the trackday is her birthday present from me, so I was hoping that she couldn't be forced to spend another ~$70 on more gloves for it. If I have to, I have to I suppose.

2 years ago saw a guy at Road Atlanta with a pair like that, I just gave him my backup set of gauntlet type track gloves.
