Imo I think your be fine with a 6x12. I have a 2001 ford sport trac with the 4.0 6 in it with 160,000 miles and it tows my 6x10 enclosed pace trailer with all my gear 2 bikes generator and camping supplies plus all the junk my girlfriend brings along (lol) really well for what it is. I've towed the trailer all over the country with it and so far no issues. My only complaint is that it could be a lot better on gas. I average 11-15 mpg towing, but i also don't have a car payment and pretty much just use it to haul my toys around. So if you have the 6 your set. I will say one thing once you get an enclosed trailer you'll never understand how you ever survived without it. As far as size get the smallest you think you can survive with and then get the next size up. I'm sure a lot of other riders will agree.
I have a friend that has one. I think it's a 5x10. He told me last night that he was going to sell it. Not sure what he wants for it though. I'll try to find out today and let ya know.
