    Hey,

    Installing a tow hitch pretty soon so I'm going to be in the market for an *okay* trailer to haul the bike around for track days out of state and I'm sure I'll find other uses for it.

    Trying to stay small - something like a 4x8 utility trailer. Not in a huge rush at the moment, just reaching out now to give myself time to find a good deal or a good deal to find me :bounce:

    Money and weight are the big determining factors for what I can use. Probably shouldn't go much over 300-400lbs curb weight. The less weight, the better. Have been on CL the last two days, nothing really eye-catching just yet.

    Thanks for reading!

    Harbor Freight!! Just got the coupons in the mail for the 4x8 folding version for $250 or something like that. $30 worth of plywood and you've got a trailer!

    The one with 8" wheels? Seems a bit :eek:

    I might be asking too much with too little to offer lol

    That's a nice trailer, but is it big enough to hold a bike?

    6ft = 72in
    GSXR 600 = 80.9in Length

    Dont forget about a MX 3 Rail trailer... There are some out there that are still all steel with good size wheels unlike the Harbor freights... The only thing that sucks is loading...

    Diagonal is how we fit the ninjette in it (Ninjette is 81.9 overall length)

    48^2 + 72^2 = 7488 -> take the square root of 7488= 86.5

    I wish I would have taken a pic of our packing job coming home from Jennnings... It takes some inventive packing but we fit the bike, 5gal gas can, table, ez-up, gearbag, campling supplies including grill, Fat-max tool box, chairs, spares box...

    Google can't find a link to find one for sale just yet. But I'll keep an eye out for the name.

    Ahhh I see how that would work. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for clarification

    12" wheels. I have the same model and have used it for 2 bikes many trips. For a small open trailer you cannot beat it.

    I've been using a harbor fright 4x8 foldable 12" wheel model for the past two years. I tow it, bike and gear with my Scion TC, no problems yet. It's takes a little work to assemble but is pretty nice for the cost. It is also foldable, so if your limited on storage space that could come in handy. If you do go down this road try you should also be able to use one of their 20% off coupons and save a few more bucks.

    On facebook so not readily available but I think I posted one with mine and my buddies bikes on it.

    You do have to get some sort of bike holder (wheel chock, pit bull TRS, strapless stands) but you have to get one for any trailer.
