I'm in need of some decent used price tire warmers. If anyone has any and is going to barber for the weekend (Mar 9-10). Please let me know. Thanks in advance.
I may know someone selling a set of CH Blue 3 temp warmers who is close to Barber.. I think he wants $275ish for them. Used but in GREAT shape. LMK if your interested.
These may be an option for you: http://www.svracingparts.com/products/#!/~/product/category=465967&id=10237728 While I have yet to try these myself, I have read some good reviews on other forums and will probably be picking up a set for this season...
http://www.mjmotogear.com/SINGLE-TEMP-TIRE-WARMERS-warmer.htm found this for $160. Is this a good deal anyone?
That's the best price I've seen for a set of warmers. If you do pick a set up let me know what you think of them. I'm in need of a set for this summer. And also let me know about the service. Thanks, Nick
I haven't used their warmers but I have a set of their front and rear stands. The stands are borderline quality, I had to do a little filing and bending just to make them work properly. I probably would not buy their warmers.
These are pretty descent. My set lasted two years (prob 40 track weekends). At the end of last season my rear warmer would get warm but not hot. I called MJMoto and my set were still in the two year free replacement. I sent them in, they verified it wasn't coming up to temp and they asked me if I wanted a replacement set. I choose to upgrade to the woodcrafts cause i like the dual temp. If you are doing the occasional track day on a budget they will work great. The folks at MJMoto have been great to deal with and have very fast shipping. I would easily buy from them again. There are several staff members and customers that i have seen use these warmers.
Thank you for the feedback. Me and my wife are new to track. Last year we got into it and was hooked. So I feel like it's a good starter and a learning process before I can get a little better. Looking forward to seeing everyone at Barber in March. I will be bringing 7 riders with me from Ft. Campbell, Ky. Stop by everyone if you guys have time. Blue pathfinder w/ 2 flat black gsxrs..
Thanks, I have been eyeballing some of the more expensive ones, but just having a hard time parting with the cash. I work and go to school fulltime, so I don't have a lot of extra $$ laying around. I worked two jobs during the summer last year so I could do track days. I will definitely invest in a nice pair after I graduate in DEC 2013, but if this set will get me throught this season, I am cool with that!! Thanks for sharing the information. :thumb: Nick
