Anyone going to Barber 18 Jul looking to get rid of a tire warmer set for a decent price? 9315427480.

Not sure if this is the route you want to go but my now wife bought me a cheap off brand single temp style off of eBay and they have been working great for the past three seasons. 150 for the set I believe.

Yeah I have a cheap set of single temps and really haven't had any issues at all... Id really like to hear some reasons why the expensive ones are better.

I agree I would too. The whole tire warmer thing in my opinion is simple. All it is is a heating element set at a specific temp. so why is one set 600 bucks and another is 150 still can't figure that out.

I'm really thinking about going that route. I just really need a front tire warmer since my chicken hawk front went bad. Thanks for the input guys.

    The difference can be:
Quality of the elastic on the edge
    Case
    Material burn through resistance
Even distribution of heat (heat coil coverage)
    Quality of temperature control
    Support
EDIT: forgot to add power consumption

    It can also be:
Brand name overprice for Chinese crap
    Sponsorships
    Markup

The trick is to determine which is which. That applies to low price options also.

I have MJ Moto ones. They work fine for what I need but you can tell that they don't get as hot as Woodcrafts or Chicken Hawks. You have to put them on for a good hour at least to get them to a decent temp and even then it's not as hot as it should (especially for slicks).
