Need an extra set of wheels for the track for my 2011 GSXR750. I'd like to find a complete set with rotors and sprocket and hub.

make sure I am correct, but I am pretty sure any GSXR600 or 1000 rear wheel from 08 to 12 will work as well. Not as sure about the GSXR1000 but pretty sure about the GSXR600 working.

    FYI

09-to current GSXR-1000 wheels will not work on a 11 750 or 600. You wouldn't want the rear wheel even if it did fit as its a 6" wide rim.

Only the 11 and up 600/750 are direct fit. I have heard of people making older models fit but the axle sizes are different and at the bare bones minimum you would need to source wheel bearings and axle seals to fit the smaller axle. Not sure on if spacer changes would be necessary or not or rotor spacing. Also older wheels are heavier.

No, only 600/750 wheels from 11 and up are a direct replacement for 11 and up bikes.

We weren't much help in the search though! I do know a guy who has a set of wheels but they do not have rotors or a sprocket carrier with them. I think he payed a little much for them ($800 if I recall). He wants to sell them as he is getting out but you would have to factor in cost of adding rotors to that price. If interested let me know and I will put you in touch.

Thanks Dave. I'll see if I can find other alternatives. Got a couple responses that I'm waiting for a reply on. But I will keep that in mind if it don't work out.

11 and up wheels for all the Suzukis can be found but at a price generally and with no rotors even. I searched quite a while for my 11 1000 spare wheels and finally scored a set off eBay with rotors shipped for $545, trust me that's a very rare deal. I just got lucky but had to search for ever it seemed.

I have a 11 750 streetbike if you want to just buy the whole bike lol

yea but my budget (and riding skills) are not the same as yours. I am looking 07 - 09 GSXR_750. 11+ is way to rich for my pocket I still got kids in college. :)

I scored a set of '13 750 rims for $450 shipped from TX to OH complete w/rotors, cush/sprocket carrier....ebay. They were $500 shipped 'buy it now', and I messaged the guy and he took my offer for $450. They were on ebay for at least a week before I pulled the trigger.

They came today, but I wasn't here to sign for them.

that's a great deal. Ive been looking on ebay but all I seem to find are a front or rear but hardly any sets. the only one I saw the guy wanted like $750. needless to say I'm still looking

When you do your ebay search, mix your words up.

    Like this:

    2011 GSXR 600 wheel rim
    2012 GSXR 750 front wheel
    2011 GSXR rear wheel
    .....and so on.

Each one of these searches will generally bring up different listings.

I do that for everything I'm searching for.

I'll keep an eye out, because I am always searching ebay for GSXR parts. I'm a GSXR hoarder of sorts. Have owned nothing but GSXR's since '92. :)

    Liambalop,

Thanks for the info. I was able to find a rear wheel for a good price. Still need a front but I'll keep looking.

How is the new bike coming along? Did you ever sell the R1?

    Stu,

The bike is great. And yeah I sold the R1 once I bought the 750. Got to go to Jennings on Sat Jan 17 and the bike worked great. Def glad I spent the money up front to have the suspension done right. Has made a huge difference. Can't wait to take it to Barber.
