So last Monday at Autobahn with NESBA, we had this guy in Beginner group red flag a session within the first lap. The fool got onto pit lane and turned the wrong way right into oncoming traffic... he almost got down to the back straight on the South course before the corner workers managed to get him turned around... a few people flying down the back straight were headed right for him and saw him coming at them the wrong way. Then, when he got to the track exit, he didn't even take it! He ran all the way down to the end of the front straight and then took a U-turn onto the grid-up lane to get off the track. As soon as he pulled up to a Control Rider, the CR pulled his keys out and had a talkin to with him and he won't be permitted at NESBA events anymore. Scary stuff!
That was nuts!!! I was coming out of 10 onto the back straight when i saw the cornerworker pulling the red flag out. So I took it easy, looking down the track to see if it was ahead of me, and I see some dude coming at me!!! He pulled off by the worker at 11 as i came up on him. Thank god noone was coming around that right hander before the pits or that could have ended up very ugly. The rest of the day was great, 30 minute sessions and all. I was beat by the end of the day. Later, Rich
If he was banned by NESBA, we can prolly look forward to meeting him at an STT date, next year...
If I know Bonnie  she probably found out who the guy was already from the Nesba crew....I doubt we'll be seeing him at the STT events, but CCS and WERA racers should pray that someone stole the guy's bike.
