I am selling my Elka shock from my 09 ZX6R. I am thinking of going another direction for next year. It is the 4-way adjustable shock purchased new in the spring (2013). Sprung for a rider between 155-175, but will work for a greater range in weight. I have 5-6 race weekends on it. That is it. I would like to get $450 and your stock rear shock. I will try and post pics soon. Located in Bloomington, IN.

The shock that I have does not have remote preload.

Will fit 05-12 ZX6R but the 05-08 ZX6Rs have slightly different shock lengths.

I will look into the part number sometime this weekend. You could just ask Elka if a 09 ZX6R shock will fit.

I'm sure Elka will gladly sell me a new one, but I'll give it a try.

Does anybody have any feedback on fitment, or differences between 07 and 09 models? J-T?Troy?Cyril? :)

Well I know the 05-08 swingarm uses the same shock
09 they changed the swingarm and I am unsure if they changed the shock height
I have an 06 elka shock for my 05 swingarm on my 01 zx6r :p

Is that an Eibach 525 spring then? I have to do a bit more research before I commit. If you still have it by the end of the week, we'll talk.

Sorry Sold to Owen yesterday. I will let you know if the deal falls through. I had 3 guys yesterday alone wanting it. You can tell the off-season is finally here when people are itching to upgrade their bikes.
