Just a couple years ago from Chimi and Lewis.... And Chimi Haulin the Mail filming.... Congrats to him for winning the weekend and Lewis for winning the Horizon Award... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzXGvnMMT_s Jakes Mishap... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jgQIXz5cb8
He walked away with a sprained wrist...... This photo was at the end of the weekend.... http://www.americanmotorcyclist.com...wis_wins_2011_AMA_Roadrace_Horizon_Award.aspx
But at 15 you can do Anything and get away with it!! Hell even win the 2012 Supersport AMA East Title the next year...:lmao::lmao::lmao: I would still be looking for my teeth in the grass up there....
very true lol, i like watching lewis (no homo) be interesting to see how he does for the next 5 races that ama has lol. the kicker of all that, that divet is still there and putnam hasn't fixed it, there is a nasty bump on the exit of 5 too, still one of my favorite tracks, but it needs some love
Well looks like the weather gods are on our side for the 19th-20th. Mid to high 60's for highs with lows in the high 40's and only a 40% chance of rain on Sunday. Not bad for an April event......:smokin: :wheel:
Obviously you are not from Indiana! 7 day forecasts are for amusement only in this state. They can't accurately predict the next 7 minutes let alone seven days! Matt
I guess I deserve this because I've been giving the guys who are going to Grattan the same weekend a hard time about the snow up there!!
I've never worried about getting a spot with IndyDucati. Waited till today and sold out other than two I spots on Sunday. I think I am close to I but not first time out of the gate this year. I guess I'll take the grandsons out with the dirtbikes instead this weekend. Matt
Well, Putnam Park is ok in my book. You guys had me so scared of turn 4 it took me till Sat. afternoon before I was railing through there!! As an FYI they are building what looks like more garages behind the "clubhouse" so there is not as much space to pit as there used to be. Learned a few things from Blake Holt which really helped me get up to speed. I met a few STT forum members who no doubt knew me by the "Big Trailer". Anyways, had fun didn't crash and learned a new track so all was good for me. Oh, almost forgot that our 1st session on Sat. morning was the "A" group and wouldn't you know it the 1st rider crashed in the 1st turn to start out the day!!
Feast enough to scare myself a few times!!:fear: It was a really good weekend mainly because the weather was just about perfect. :thumb:
