radiator protection

mine is way past the point of straightening the fins, so i'm looking for a good used or new one.
what do you guys use to protect after install?
will a piece of screen work?

This is what I have on mine. Perrone uses small chicken wire mesh on his R1.

Home depot gutter screen.... Cut to fit or free from Teddy!! Works like a charm...

Same idea... just a bigger sheet. They have different sizes in stock.

 

heading to the Lowe's by cycle gear today.

 

I use 1/4 inch hardware cloth. Approx $ 5.00

I got some stove hood filters, like this:

it won't cover the entire front, but the most vulnerable area seems to be vertically behind the tire.
