Just don't suck the new paint off of my freshly painted bike when you pass me. I know the track pretty well, but I'm approaching it slowly till I build some confidence in the bike and setup.
You did go ahead and sacrifice a spot of paint to asphalt magnet didn't you? I always just go ahead and scuff something on the lower or other out of place spot so it's not perfect. Got to break that magnetic attraction of new paint to asphalt. Just like throwing a new set of leathers on the ground!
I'll be there on Saturday running Novice group. I will be pitting at the garages at NCM. Also can rent a space if you guys are interested. $25 per bike.
I'll be right there with you Saturday. I rode the Staff day last year, but haven't been back yet. With 19 turns, it takes a day to get it dialed in. Will be driving up Saturday morning from Nashville, then back home Sunday night. I am looking forward to seeing all the updates to the paddock area!
Got the new shock on the GSXR rear. Thought I had the logging for TC setup to test on the GPX Pro but some sheep soldered it wrong. Should be an easy fix as long as the new belt for the motorhome is not a @#$!#$ to put on tonight. Oh and I will be slow and not looking good so way to rub it in Vern
Well, you know..... The airshow with the Blue Angels in April, NASCAR and very expensive hotel rooms around Tally at the end of the month, a contractor doing work on the house last weekend....... So, NCM it is. I've never started my track day season this late before, and I don't like it one bit.
