You're also trying to sell on a track forum, where we usually try save money for mods and track days by buying slightly rough bikes :bounce:[/QUOTE]

    so true..

Hmmm other than your response to my question regarding the price I had no clue what you were wanting for it. In fact the only indication that you were selling it was that it was in the For Sale Section.

So Kelly Blue book on this bike in EXCELLENT condition in other words NEW condition is $5410 retail. I assume as well that when you say maintenance has been kept up that ALL fluids have been changed like brake and coolant and then the oil has been changed annually after every ride ?? The new owner can expect to deduct the price of new tires as well since those are past the expected life (at least I would not ride on them).

And for reference I paid $4500 for CBR600f4i 2006 with 1600 miles on it and promptly replaced the tires. This bike was like NEW, not a scratch on it.

All that being said I understand you wanting the price you want for it since I want $16,500 for my Goldwing but will probably never see that unless I am patient and wait for some buyer that can appreciate what I have done to my bike to allow it to maintain its value. You are entitled to ask whatever you want but be prepared to wait and make sure you state what your asking price is so you don't waste a potential buyers time as well as yours by them offering market value when you are wanting above market value.

thank you everyone for your responses for helping a newbie.

I have been offered 6K and Im happy. I play the stock market and I think that's an industry thats hard to win against, seems like the bike market is no different with the real enthusiasts on the track :)
