The first Barber weekend in March is available now, just booked it, woo hoo! Also booked MSRH in February with RideSmart (Texas) because waiting until March is too much for me, lol!
I'm not sure if it is appropriate to ask questions yet (so ignore me if so) but, I've been studying the schedule and I have a several inquiries: Where can I find out what "Pro School" is at Grattan? I saw it referenced last year but I never followed up on it. This question is more curiosity than anything as I am nowhere near anything "Pro", and I live too far away to come out for just a day anyway ;-) For Road America, I get the 6th and 7th, trailing MotoAmerica but, what is the story behind the 29th and 30th, a Wednesday/Thursday? Seemed odd to me in the context of all the other Fri/Sat/Sun dates on the calendar. For July 1st-4th at Grattan. It doesn't say it, but is that Friday a "Pro School"? I ask because I see that July 2nd, a Saturday, is Ladies Day Only. So, if I arrive (as a guy) on the 1st, and plan to make a weekend of it, what would I do on the 2nd? Can I be at the track, but not riding? Or perhaps Friday is "Pro School", Saturday is Ladies Only, and I should then think to arrive for the 3rd and 4th? Obviously, decisions are my own, but I was trying to understand better how the weekend is envisioned by the organizers. If I can stay at track and watch Ladies ride and just chill out - that works for me! Ladies on Fast Bikes - what's not to like? (as my non-riding wife glares at me). What is "Trackfest" at Gingerman in late August?

A Pro School day gives you the option to work 1on1 for the day with an STT instructor, in either intermediate or advanced group. At the end of the day you can get a certificate which is valid for a provisional novice license for WERA, AHRMA or CCS. The 29th and 30th are before the CCS event that weekend - this year they are combining with some other race orgs to make a huge event. Normally we would have the Thurs/Fri before their event - this year they took the Friday because of the size of their event, so we shifted back to Wed/Thurs. Right now, the Friday is a regular day. You are welcome to stay for the ladies day and hang out - it is encouraged actually. A lot of fun.
