Thx. :rawk: I found the video most helpful for getting feedback from coaches and looking for reference points on the track. I'm amazed at how it helped me go slower to figure out how to get the correct lines and brake points etc.. --Thats from an AIM SOLO DL connected to the Bikes ECU (BMW has one w/ more data. e.g. actual brake pressure ,wheel slippage... but you CANT export the data for overlays.. YUK). Also the AIM SOLO for $399 can get you most of the stuff you need w /no ECU Connection. http://www.m-world.us/aim_solo_dl_gps_lap_timer_data_logger.html
Good point. My videos show me taking unusual lines, missing apexes everywhere, braking early...I didn't really follow a plan on Saturday like I usually do. Dean Bustle gave me some BP advice to work on and K3 provided some braking advice that I tried to work on late in the day. But all of these things helped me. Overall, I made progress and had a blast doing it. But I have had greater learning days at the track when I focus more on specific things. Thanks again!
Sunday Session 5 Here is one following Chris on a S1000 for a few laps and Juice Box for most a session. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFo9Kjm89KE&feature=youtu.be Here's one following Adam on his GSXR 600 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qo9ezIvf6Ro&feature=youtu.be
Thank Tim for the video. Also, i think it was Gundamnitpete that had a video of me getting out of shape in turn 2. Anyone else have any videos from sunday?
Yup that was me! Quite a big slip and kick for sure. I'm out of town right now but I'll see if I can get her uploaded when I get home.
Here's the vid of the rider going off T1 in A group on Sunday. Anyone have info? Didn't see the ambulance leave so I assume they were relatively ok. That's a scary place to run off http://youtu.be/LolnhILEQjQ
Edit: Here's the first half of an earlier session https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3v9z2QvTkE&feature=em-upload_owner Pretty dang proud of my pass just after the 4min mark in T2. We were running roughly the same pace and on 600s, and while I had earlier opportunities to pass it would have pushed my comfort zone on corner entry. The lap before I made the pass I noticed I had a far better drive out of T2 and didn't hear a shift from the other bike coming into T3. Next lap I drove deep into 2, squared it off, dropped my head and pulled the trigger on corner exit to make an easy pass . Bigtime fun! Here's my last run on Sunday. Started to hit my lines a little better bout halfway through the video. I still felt like I wasn't carrying enough speed into t6, and have a bad tendency to turn in early on both t7 and t8. Any other helpful hints? Pick it apart! lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGgfVsMvGsI&feature=youtu.be
Great videos everybody!! Saturday was fun, Sunday was even better!! The I-group was rolling strong all day long :thumb: Thanks Timmayy for following me around and gopro'ing it. Too bad I tuckered out so early that session. LOL my legs were spent!

Saw myself in a couple of those vids! There's actually a good bit of you in this video I'm editing up, we were playing around right behind you.
Here's me, Knolly, and bmw675 fooling around during the 3rd session on sunday. Haven't had this much fun in a long time!
That's a heckuva video Gundamnitpete! Just curious, any chance that's Inception's score in the background? And that debris was Chappy's exhaust. There's more video of it on the first page of this thread, I believe.
Thanks Beth! Close, that's the soundtrack the Oblivion which released last year. It was done in partnership with M83, so you can hear the little electronica vibe going on in the background.
Awesome editing. My skills only allow me to click start and stop. :lmao: Perfect example of bike size not always coming into play, especially on a track like North. Good times..... What happened to my video is beyond me. It was clear when I viewed it, and went hazy once I uploaded it. :conf:
What did you upload it to? I noticed awhile back I was using Adobe Premier to do serious edits on stuff, and there was some setting in the program you have to adjust so it keeps the resolution of the video you are editing. In my case, the setting was setup to start the editting at a lower resolution, so after everything was done the quality looked like crap.
Usually I use windows movie maker to edit the start/stop before youtube, and it's hit and miss. This time I just went straight to Dropbox so Pete could do his magic.
