Had a blast! Thanks to Vern in was able to drop my lap times to a 1:12 consistently. Not the fastest but I can live with it. Hopefully I'll be at Barber next month.
This was my first time at Tally, and my legs are soooo sore! Had a great time, and thank you to "Cupcake" for towing me around. I liked all the left turns, but that right is a pain.
I guess Ed would say I make a good rabbit... with all my "hop"ing.... Was awesome to work with you!!! And like I said, I am always more than happy to give out tows! We are there for you guys to help on the track however we can. Thanks to STT for letting me come out once again, love the people I get to meet and I enjoy sharing whatever knowledge I can. I am glad to report that with my screwy math for laptimes that the WERA race weekend at Tally in a few weeks is looking pretty promising.
Hey guys! Thanks for making my FIRST track day a good one! I rode the Yellow GSXR1000 in the Novice Group. Was actually following you when that knee drug the ground. Was better than Christmas morning! Watching you guys has really paid off. Tried to tell those "street only" riders that they really aren't moving. Like telling a fat kid his favorite ice cream is nasty! They still swear they are the fasting thing in town... CLUELESS! Thanks for a great experience!
havent been on this in 3 years! but im glad i wasnt the only fng out there! i had a blast with everyone and im glad to be on staff it was awesome!
Wanted to thank you guys for such an awesome weekend. Was actually following you when I really put that knee down and all I can say that it was better than Christmas morning. I was riding the Yellow GSXR1000 in the Novice Group. Listening to you guys really paid off. Tried telling those "street only" riders that they really aren't moving is like telling a fat kid that ice cream is nasty! CLUELESS! Thanks for a great experience. (NOTE: If I have posted this twice, please forgive. Not a regular forum user! Thanks!):first:
I also had an awesome weekend (minus being in the middle of the Valdez oil spill and breaking my bike a bit). Its weird the right hander felt so uncomfortable to someone who loves the rights at Barber. Its good practice for left handers for sure!
Great weekend! And the right hander T3 is AWESOME. Don't let the look of that pavement fool you it has all the grip you need!
i believe he was, i pulled the guy on the blue and white gsxr all day sta/sun he improved a massive amount!
OK, I was going to say, he(Beeznass) was riding great. We were watching the last Novice session and Mike(Lead Nov. Instructor) went around you and you latched onto him and surprised all of us that were standing there. Nice riding!
you tell ppl you were born in 67, but I saw your license...I know the truth grey bush. but for real thanks a ton, had a blast...I'll bring you some vodka and redbull next track day...your fav
thanks! i turned a 1:06 with Shawn Gosselin the last session i went out! i have to say i love being a track coach and seeing guys like Beeznass and others learn and improve... cant wait to get back to the track again! but next time im going to pass mike ;-)
Sorry for the confusing wording, I was referring to Beeznass:caked: Glad you had a great time though.
Had a great time as well, sorry we couldn't stay for Sunday.novice instructors were great as always. Ed seems to have classroom instruction memorized and covers everything. HUGE props to Curtis for bringing the doughnuts and high octane coffee Saturday morning. Thanks to newleaf and Emily for saving us a spot Friday afternoon. And last but not least big props to Felix who refused to let the mud even think about drying on my wife's bike, after turn 2 uh. . . .treated her poorly. .see you guys at Barber in 19 days.:wheel:
Had a great time at my first track day! Would like to thank UN4RMED_07, mike, and travis for helping me this weekend. I was on the blue and white gsxr with chrome wheels in the novice group. I had been riding a stretched bike but i'm glad to have learned the fundamentals to ride a sportbike the way it is suppose to be ridin. Just wanna say thank you to eveyone for being friendly and helpful for making my first track day experience a great one.
