I have no clue what you are talking about.
The damn fuel light worked before and decided not to work now and I almost made it back into the pits.

As far as testing the bike out ilikebikes, I will not be at Mid-O until July.

Ordered all my parts from STG and found a rim. Should be back in business in a week or so.

    It must be the BBQ...
Thanks- I had a rather ignominious debut as an STT coach this past weekend... On Saturday, after struggling to get my "trusty" ol' BMW going for the first three sessions, I got it going, only to suffer a bottom end failure after three laps. I spent the rest of the day preparing Saturday evening's feast, which was well appreciated.
Sunday, I received several offers of bikes to ride from my fellow coaches & I made damn sure to be careful, not pushing my limits even remotely and having a truly great and very rewarding time helping other riders in the Intermediate group. I helped bump a couple guys into the A group and worked with an older gentleman who was pitted near me work on his lines and technique; he really made some fantastic progress that day. Then, midafternoon, thought it might be fun to go out and play with my fellow coaches in the A group and spend a little time riding just for fun... :? the rest is noted here...

I am glad to hear you guys are OK. I am IRIS friend russo who cought the accident on camera. I fell fortunate that i passed you guys between 6-7 as it might have been a 3 bike crash. Hope you guys heal up quick. i have been suffering post concussive syndrome since last september when i got a doozy on my motard so I feel your pain.

Heal up quick and i hope Iris forwarded the link to the video if she did not shoot me a PM and ill send it to you.

OK here it is but you have to down load it to watch it. crash is around 4:05 then you will see my near crash on the front straight at 4:30 when the group infront of me decided to slow down drastically without putting up a hand until i almost hit them. I must have missed the red flag or it was thrown right after i went by. either way it was scary close for me. Glad the coaches are doing better.

video is not the best but you can see the smoke from th tire locking up and them both go down. I had no idea it was happening so I was full on the throttle because i just passed and did not want to screw up their lines.

link removed at the request of a track coach. sorry no harm intended.

You were fine, we just came out of the pits and I was trying to get some heat in the tires. I have found that locking up the rear helps. If you look at the video close you can see my feet fly in the air.

Yeah I was the coach on the inside right in front of you when we both came over the rise coming into the front straight and was like HOLLY CRAP! That could have been real bad real quick. I saw you shoot to the outside and almost into the grass. Never fails no matter how many times Monte says it. Stick hand up and THEN let off the throttle GRADUALLY! Could have been really ugly!

I am glad it was not just me that thought WTF when i crested the hill. I did not mean to pass on red but I was not about to get ass ended by anyone who might have been coming up behind us. did we miss the red flag? I am just gald it ended OK. that is why i tried talking to you when we were getting off because I did not know what happened and if i missed anything.

Once again glad the guys are doing OK and they will recover. how is the concussion? Any ill effects? I am always concerned after my 3-4th i am starting to get more long term effects when I get them and do not recover as quickly. I removed the link at a coaches request, sorry guys.

As we we're coming out of T11 they had just started to raise it up but still those guys shouldn't have grabbed a fistful of brake like that. Red means slow to school house speed and exit track at next time by Pit Out, not do a 40 foot stoppie and scare a mexican so bad he almost turns white.
