AA batteries, solder gun and battery charger/tender. I bring a lot of stuff (more than I have needed) and yet have had to go hunting (thanks TLR67 for a GSXR circle clip once). Realize it is almost impossible to have everything. Interestingly a couple of things that I borrowed I have added then never needed, but I have loaned them  Oh and beer :blah: all you @#$#@ yankees coming to Barber in March need to bring Maple Sugar Candy (pure, not blended crap).
those speed bleeders are super cool. how often do you need to bleed and/or flush brake fluid on a track bike?
Ok roger that. Im in Novice but Ill make sure I also have a bottle of Motul in the tool box too for full weekends especially.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I dont think you'll have to worry about that just yet. JT is riding at a completely different level than us Novices. Do a full brake service before any track day/season, and then make sure to do constant check ups through out the weekend, but there shouldnt be any need to bleed your brakes at the end of a full weekend in novice.
Appreciate the kind words jeff, still got alot of room to improve myself :thumb: depending on pads, pad material left etc that variable will change, the less pad the more heat transferred to the brake pistons which heats the fluid & expands it, personally i like brake levers that are rock hard (insert perverted joke here ) keeping some on hand is definitely recommended and there really isn't such thing as "too good of brake maintenance". Could you get away with one to two changes, easily. Just keep them fresh.
I do my street bike 2x per season (though honestly I think it has a tiny leak in the system somewhere) easier though, because its DOT3 and the little bottle at autozone is freaking $2. I'll keep an unopened bottle of the $18 Motul in the tool box next to the extra brake pads that the PO had for the bike when I purchased it.. also got a spare set of fairings with the bike. should I keep those "in the tool box" as well? :bounce: ...the box they came in is huge... that's the joke... good joke, right?
I change the fluid and bleed the system before each weekend. Not only does it do the obvious but its a good time for going over the braking system and spotting any potential problems.
Love my Motion pro T handles that you put a socket on, 1/4 and 3/8 drive. I know Ski has the same ones.
