and this is the biggest thing i took back from blackhawk. aside from the gravel...the pits were cool as hell. tons of room to spread out. it really had a 'hang-out' feel to it. and, as in this pic, many-many bleachers from which to watch the action.
Yay! It's nice to see someone new come in and see the charm of our local favorite track. Nice pics. That sunrise shot is beautiful. Those bleachers are there for what was a dirt track across the road. Not sure if you noticed the now grass covered berms and jumps they are facing. Behind them is actually a short runway for small airplanes. No lie, it's cool seeing planes come in and out over the track. (Doesn't happen very often.)
LOL. Kim weighs like, 90 pounds. She works out like a mofo though and could probably kick yer arse in a fight. Great rider to boot, so is her hub.
yeah, i saw an airplane twice this weekend. first time i thought 'oh-no, a plane is in trouble and thinks this is a good place for an emergency landing'!!!!
was pretty sure it was a girl....but ya never know! i'll add her to the ever-growing list of people that can kick my ass!
Jig sorry again about turn 3 , it wasn't the proper way to introduce myself  . looking forward to seeing the rest of the pics. Kirk Erlinger
'sal good. it's all ancient history now... looking forward to riding with you again. was very nice to meet you face to finger...err...i mean face to face.
so this guy kept asking for rides on the back of my pitbike. at first i thought it was creepy that he would rub my shoulders as we would ride. but after awhile....i started to crave it. was it wrong that, later in the day, i would slowly ride by his pit...looking longingly...just hoping....hoping he needed another ride?
three green vested instructors going along their merry way......oh wait....make that two. my bad. carry on.
