I do not believe there is a hotel real close. I have stayed outside of Charlotte before going. But lately i have been camping. I set my trailer up w/ bed and power/ heating / air.The camping there is good. They have new facilities w/ nice showers..Ill see there i will be camping Sat. night and riding Sunday. 8)

Your not alone Ozzy... Me and my buddy Cody will be doing the same.. Camping is the way to go... Wake up at the track and eat breakfast while everyone else is in a Rush..If you want we could all rent a garage.. $50 Has Power too.. Let me know..

There is the Executive Inn right there in Kershaw. It's only about 5-10 mins from the track. It's not a bad option if you don't want to camp. Remember, late Nov, overnight/early morning it can get a bit chilly.

I haven't seen the Executive Inn but that's a good price!! I stayed right off of the hwy about 15 mins from the track and it was $99 a night! I gonna hit in the Executive Inn this go round. I want to camp but I just got my trailer and it's not setup for sleeping yet. I'm sure it's gonna be chilly at night when the high for the day temps are only 60's.

does anyone know if you can go to this event without paying the joining fee like we did at Talladega? I am going to join next year but I don't want to pay the fee for one track day. Tally was my first track day and I am hooked!

I would really love to come to this one, STT is too much fun. I am already looking for a trailer and a track bike. I have two other friends that want to do the same.

I'll probably take my chances with draining the bike. My bike always sit in a non climate controlled garage year round and I've never had the water freeze before.

For the record, I have been to CMP MANY times and have NEVER seen a fire pit allowed.

Course, sometimes it's easier to ask forgiveness!

I'll be there Friday and riding Saturday. Probably hang out Saturday evening and head home Sunday morning.

This track is notorious for biting guys with cold tires as well, so take it easy the first sessions...
