This will be my third time at RA, but first time with STT. I don't know if I should have chosen Intermediate but I chose Novice just to be on the safe side. Can you get "bumped" like the "other" org.? I'll be out there on a blue first gen. no fairing SV650.
Re: Road Atlanta Tried to pm you via my Blackberry. I went racing last weekend and I have been on vacation this week in Gatlinburg. Wife says you can stay as long as you lower the seat after you pee. She gets super pissed when her ass touches the toilet water (sometimes I leave it up just to get a laugh). Give me a call at 334-319-2175 if you are interested. See you then...Joseph
For all those who never been. There is several outlets for power (share amongst eachother. There was a real douche-bag there last weekend who would not let this kid hook-up to his power so I let him use mine). Two male showers, same for females and there is fuel there as long as some vendors. It was $30 for the weekend per person (I have no idea how much for the trackday), and there is a wendys/mcdonalds/gas station down the road. Had a blast riding/racing and look forward to riding again this weekend. Hang in past the kink on the straight the first time is intimidating. Break deep and late and you will have some flyer laps. See you all Friday. Joseph
Joseph... We wont be running the WERA Config... Also we will be pitting on the outside of the track just a FYI..
That is great I almost rear ended a kid parking it going into the chicane. I will still be there fairly early getting my gear and bike prepped. Marc see you there in a few days. Just sitting here in the mountains enjoying some Yuengling Lager and listening to a Vietnam Vet tell some tales.
Cool Man... I was talked into doing a Boil Friday night... See you then...I will be on the tire machine..
Awesome weekend. Beautiful weather, tons of fun, and great food. Thanks to Mark and Lois and all the STT staff for feeding me so well and all our customers for making this all possible.
Road Atlanta Marc- Nice meeting you bro (appreciate the drink too!). Had a blast and diced it up with some cool ass dudes. I love the old configuration (wera is so much slower). Great weekend and I came back walking away. Wish I could do Tally but I already paid for Barber. When I get back from military duty in four weeks I will see you all back at Road Atlanta......Joseph
I've been to RA only once and pitted inside the track. Will there be plugs for warmers and what not for the average Joe who doesn't have a generator? Is there going to be a suspension guy/girl there?
Re: Facts On Road Atlanta Aug 21-22nd..... Do genarators have to be shut off at a certain time or can they run all night? can you camp in the paddock where there is electric? look forward to this weekend thanks!
Re: Facts On Road Atlanta Aug 21-22nd..... You can run them all night however keep in mind there are people in tents trying to sleep.. If you build a box to put it in it would be appreciated.. As far as Power goes it is first come first serve.. And yes you can camp ANYWHERE at Road Atlanta!!
