    Hey Mike,

Can you please introduce the CR's for "I" at the drivers meeting? and where they are pitted. 3 of us guys from the Chi burbs ( plus PDaddy from the post above) are gonna be first timers this weekend at Gingerrman. It sure does make it easier if we have someone to follow for the first session, until we figure out which way the track goes.

    Thanks,

    Bill

can't wait to get out there again. gingerman is sorta my "home" track.

the seams will mess with you if you let them get in your head. the worst place for them (turn 10) has been redesigned, so it's no longer an issue there. t2 is the other place where people sometimes have issues. pick a good line and/or seek assistance from the capable instructors and you'll be fine...

    I'm in for both days.

Are the pits paved or will we be setting up on the grass.
Just want to know so I can bring a sheet of plywood if needed.

Plenty of asphault to park your bike on. No need for the sheet of plywood.

    Ditto

Also have 3 guys in I that will be new to Gingerman and looking for a tow around for the first session or two...would appreciate something being set up rather than first come first served at pit-out if possible.

    many thanks

    Re: Ditto

I'll try to remember to ask Mr. Massara to identify "I" CR's at the morning's riders meeting and you can connect with them immediately following the meeting. Definitely use them!

In stead of waiting till the riders meeting since many of the "I" CRs are getting ready for the first session & not there.

I would mention you want to work with someone when you go though registration. This way Mike can make sure he has enough CRs for the group and assign someone to help you.

Only 60% chance of rain? Don't care. We are comming anyway.

Let's see..... Out of 1 hour, (100%) The "I" group is out on the track 33% of the time. It will be clear when we ride, no matter what time of day it is. :) That leaves 67%. With 60% of that being rain, that leaves 7% for the "A" and "N" groups to ride in clear weather. :D Just joking.

We're still commin' and hopin' for the best.

    See Ya at the Track!

Had a great time this weekend! Thanks to the staff for making a southern staffer feel welcome! The rain on Saturday was a bit of a bummer but the 3 dry sessions in the after was nice. Sunday was much better with the rain timing a visit at lunch and then clearing off in time for the after lunch sessions.
A speedy recovery to the staffer that had to head to the ER in the afternoon!

    Good times...

Mike G went down in front of me. Looked to be pretty hard low side. Thankfully I was able to miss him and the bike

    Hopefully nothing serious...

That was you greycat?? Sean and I were right behind you. We thought you might have crashed too. Guess you rode off track and then around the mess?? It sure looked like you were going to plow the wrecked bike.
Target fixation sucks.. Glad you didnt go down.

I wouldnt say I Target fixated... At the time I wasnt sure of mike's trajectory. So I just stood it up and kept right of Mike and then the bike.

As I replay it. I think I made the SAFEST choice.

    Mike

    Kek got any video?

    Anyone know how Mike is?

You did great. There wasnt alot of space inbetween you 2. I would have bet you went down. Nice job keeping it upright and on 2 wheels.
