Gingerman Bike Night - 7/3 - Roll Call!

Shot in the dark here. Is there going to be any STS reps here? I'm assuming no because of ladies first going on at Grattan.

 

I believe i saw Grey was going to gman.. Whether or not he will have tires is beyond me.

We unfortunately will not be at Gingerman performing tire service, hearthfire setup will be set up at Grand and Thursday night and we'll be there through Sunday evening. If you're interested in tire service or have to have tire service you're more than welcome to come up the grand on Thursday night or Friday during the day to have it done

 

Thats a good idea. I will hit Grattan friday morning then just make the drive back to Gman. Gotta be done.

 

Glad I saw this post. I was planning on the tire service at Gingerman. That would have been a problem. LOL

 

Novice doesn't necessarily finish last. I believe we finish when we run out of daylight.

Looking at Grattan and not sure about Gman yet. If I escape early enough on Friday I'd like to check out the new pavement.
Need to be sure to bring enough rear tires. The new bike eats them like a fat kid with donuts:lmao: Tire life is now measured in minutes not days. I had hoped it was only going to be one tire per day but that does not appear to be the case.

 

Bottom end is rebuilt, but was lapping in valves last night and found one slightly bent valve. I have one being overnighted..

I'm going to still be putting this bike back together Friday afternoon haha, good thing it's a bike night :bounce:

If the motor survives Gman, I'm headed to Grattan!

 

Anyone else anxiously check the weather before track day weekends?

 

Yeah but it's kind of pointless. Weather is only remotely accurate one or two days out by then novice intermediate have sold out.

 

I'm in. Road America on Thursday. Gingerman on Friday. Grattan Saturday and Sunday. For at least as long as this old man can stay on the bike.

Man, couldn't get a spot for Grattan on Saturday. Thinking I'll try Gman. Was also thinking I could get a dyno tune at Grattan Friday. hmmm.

This will be my first trip to Gingerman. Anyone know if there will be food concessions available? Anything else I may need to know about Gingerman? I have only been to Grattan in the past.

There is a concession stand, I just don't know if they will be open at night.
I'd eat before and bring water and snacks and then no need for the concession stand.
