Yep, it was a great 4 session day. and that fresh asphalt is nice. wish it had more markers, its too clean lol.
Yeah, it was pretty cool. Black top usually makes me nervous but it was pretty grippy and definitely smooth. Before we left this morning (Sat), I was watching some cars run out there. Somebody laid about 5 quarts of oil through 2 or 3 turns. They had it shut down for a while...so be careful out there next time! Damn cars!!
Which group? What color bike. My brother had an issue, and shut down but I do not think he was aware of any smoke.

yeah, it was the one in intermediate. some people were just not sure if he laid anything down or not. but the track looked nice and clean so all good. Gingerman definitely became tons more fun after the repave.
Yup, that's me unfortunately. I can't believe how much smoke there is in the video. I couldn't see any until the instructor that followed me off into the pit lane came up besides me and pointed down at my headers. I just saw an instructor waving me off when he flew by me so I figure I'd get off and see what was up. I put that engine in the bike the week before, and I got a total of a 2 rides to work, and 1.5 laps at gingerman in before it blew the head/valve gasket.
