So whats the thoughs on attendance? Im really on the fence about going. I would like some feedback from the regulars.
Only two things keep me from Grattan. Lack of $$$ and rain. Current forecast is low chance of rain. I'd be there if I could afford it. Matt
There will be the diehards that are already signed up and will be there without doubt. There will also be the weather watchers who will sign up last minute taking a chance there will be an open spot for the group they ride. It's Michigan and it's October, which really only means we know that the Wings and Lions are back playing again.....oh and the weather can change several times before next weekend. If you sign up, just be prepared for any type of weather, it may be brisk in the morning and sunny and warm in the afternoon......or it might not be. Keep in mind that it will take track sometime to warm up and might feel a bit slippery in the morning. It's usually a great last event for the year here in the north. I'm looking forward to it.
Right now they are calling for 73 on Saturday. Track is always a little slick the first couple of sessions.
i'm extremely jealous.. i have too much to do this weekend or i'd be carting my happy ass up there Enjoy, october michigan weather ain't like this every year
Well my last track day of the year was ruined by work... I love getting my schedule changed all the time. Looks like its Chicago days for me. :-(
Saturday - Low 70's and sun Sunday - 30% chance of r!@# but low 70's Looks like a great weekend at Grattan for me!!! I'll be taking it easy the first couple sessions though due to the cold temps. I hope "I" and "A" warm the track up nice for me... Looking forward to meeting new people and improving my riding skills.
