the guy on the lighting, who was throwing down 1:38's on saturday, switched to his buddy's GSXR-600 and went another 3-4 seconds faster but we couldn't convince him to go to advanced. that guy was pretty fast, for his 3rd track day. It was the other guy, with the blue firebolt, or what ever they call those things. yep they were BOTH nice guys. yeah i hope joe got a picuture of that, too. he apparently got a few funny shot's of me, saturday as I was learning not only how to ride a new bike, but GP shift as well. I haven't seen em yet. not sure if I wanna, either...lol

 

I'll be at beaverrun both Saturday and Sunday of Memorial day weekend. If that's the one you will be at I'm sure that I could pitch in a little bit.

Anyone else a little concerned about this " then my secret spice rub applied the night before". I'm not sure what to type next??????

 

ok not much of a secret anymore: kosher salt, paprika, black pepper, coriander and one clove of star anise.

 

....if i even knew what one of those was.......

Yeah- a pic would be great. You might be able to kneel on the ground while sitting in the seat. Both knees down at the same time! Nice.

I have no idea what my lap times were, but it sure was fun getting gapped on the straight and right back in the group by turn 2! The bike is ridiculously nimble, but I've only been on the track a few times so I just try to stay out of it's way and let it do it's thing.

I feel a lot better now, but I have no idea what the last 2 are. I get an uneasy feeling when I hear stuff like special sauce or rub (wrong circle of friends). I was even more concerned that it tasted good.
