Thanks Troy...for me a clean, easy pass is what i like to do...I'm out there to have fun like everyone else...I would hate to take that away from someone.
Thats my fav part about it/then i watch it and see what i can/need to do differently/better on the brakes/throttle on different corners/straights added a few of my own ///'s in there lol
well Im back, Kek70 I should have pictures online this evening. Along with Dave's ect. My body is healing pretty good. Id like to toss out a thanks to Curve for not running me over when I crashed. I'm probably out for the season with a rebuild on the 929. Lots of damage all around the bike but mostly the bike is in decent condition, aka engine, forks, frame. I havent started it yet to see if it starts, I see no reason why It shouldnt. My canopy got trashed Sat. then I wrecked my bike Sunday. Great weekend . I can say I learned alot so it wasnt a total bust of a weekend. well......... Updated here's the links to the photos I took: http://www.photobucket.com/tikki50/
Nice smooth demonstration of the Single Gear Drill, albiet with brakes but that was pretty smooth too. Here's a 1:30ish lap in Advanced during the BMW event Monday. I cheated & used a few gears. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3v08Ka55TeQ
The audio capabilties of the little Oregon Scientific digitial cameras is definitely lacking at speed, but they work pretty well otherwise for the price. And I don't like music over bike vids.
True, and what do you expect for $80? Music over the vid doesn't let you know what's going on with the throttle.... I was hoping that you got a clean lap so I could see what was going on with your line. I think mine (while not bad   ) needs a little work through 10.
i was thinking the same thing about the single gear video. nice job. however...i was highly disappointed that you didn't continue the video to see the rudeness that awaited those riders in t1. (not that i would know anything about sketchy passes.....)
Got by all but the guy in front before 2, clean. Got by him on the exit, clean. Whatever you did behind me is between you & them.
KGIXXER7 - Glad the lime-yellow 200m.p.h. tape held up so you could shoot your videos. Could almost see your tongue hanging out through the tinted visor in the heat and humidity. Since I couldn't sneak the Hypermotard demo bike out onto the track, maybe I should've put the top up on the vette, turned on the a/c and joined you guys out there. Maybe next time...
lol...how was your trip? with your top down and all lol at least ya made it out there...even though it wasn't on a bike lol
Sound Sound was good I've listen that bike go buy me many times. But that could of been a warm up lap and it made you look like you were going fast............lol
