Yes my friend, you are correct. I have crashed at Road Atlanta once in the past in turn "5" (Last Year with STT) and this year I had a little run off in turn "7" down shifting and neutral. LOL I was able to make it back on track and 'catch' the same group I was riding with. LOL I just made the turn a little wider. Hahahah I was in the grass about 12 or 13 times learning to straighten out turn 2,3,4. I found that you can just clip the first rumble strip on the right run it straight through the grass and then dip back on the track for the last right/left. Fast line, but probably frowned upon??? :woot:
Fun riding with you Whit.... We never got that Shark Fin on though... I guess the Beers got in the way... Well on my end they did..
Also, I like that you post some video and I am doing the same! I guess we can make this the "video thread" for Road Atlanta! Links will be up soon.
Yup. That was crazy because I have my XT Zed GPS lap timer which shows top speed and I was reaching 150 - 154mph on the back straight all weekend on the Honda CBR1000RR 6th gear at 10,000RPMs... Must have been a ZX-10 or a S1000RR.... My bike has 164 HP and they have about 184 hp. Big Balls and a fast bike???? = Black Blur!
^^^ HAHAHA, I could tell you were moving right along then that thing blows by like you were on a Sun ride. See you at Barber this weekend.
