I have an XT racing ultra lap timer and I was wondering where everyone mounted their two boxes on the bike. Pictures would help me a lot. Thanks.

buy the mount that uses the fork tube. Then use velcro on the other side

I put Velcro right on my the track plastics over the ram air tubes. I see a lot of people put them in the tail section as well.

This is the Moto D camera mount. It fits over the top triple clamp bolt. On the front I have my Mobius 1080p camera, on the back is my lap timer. Fits any kind of camera with a 1/4-20 threaded hole on the bottom, and any kind of lap timer. The sensor box just goes on the top side infill panel.

So the sensor doesn't need to be completely out in the open? The lap timer came with like 6ft of cord which is a lot so I didn't know if you needed to have the timer in the front and the sensor in the back

The sensor needs to have a line of sight to the beacon on the side of the track.

They have optional cables in different legnths. It doesnt matter where you put the boxes, Just make sure the sensor has line of sight to the beacon. The readout box can go anywhere

This is what I ended up doing. Don't think my arm will get in the way of the sensor

Here is what I did on my tail.... At first I only had Velcro.... Well that lasted only a few sessions back in the day with the transitions at Nashville.. I came in and my timer before was knocking around my tail a few laps... Velcro can hold but not for too long on a bumpy track... I put some rubber grommets in and ran a Metal ZIP Tie around to keep it tight.. It is loose enough to un velcro it and slip out for batteries and flip to either side pending on track .. [IMG]

[IMG] sorry the image didn't show up the first time but this is what I ended up doing. Don't think my arm will get in the way of the sensor if I'm tucked.
