These two sorta know how to get around Tally: The Stig was loving it that day when we were hanging out... it was her kind of weather: Fortunately it will be warmer there in a few weeks when we are there!!!! t
Tally's Saturday Novice group is already SOLD OUT. A few spots remain on Sunday. Intermediate is getting close both days as well. Gonna be a good time at Tally!!!!
Glad I bought my N spot early. I'll be bringing up the rear and providing ample passing opportunities for everyone else in N again
Glad I got my N spot early as well. Really looking forward to my second track day. We can pass each other
Tally Whacker. I said it! Tally Tally Tally Whacker. Post some more videos Trevor???? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQ5ZJ8BGQDk
Signed up for I on Saturday. Will be my first time at Tally since moving south, and my first time on track in about 2 1/2 years. Should be interesting. Been watching video trying to get a feel for the track, nothing like my old favorite Grattan.
Trevor - i know its early for 'facts for tally' but will Ken from Superbike be there? Just upgraded my forks and need to get them dailed in a little better...
Another Tally Whacker.... Me and Samir signed up for Saturday only. We are going over to Barber Saturday night to race WERA on Sunday. I love running Tally as I generally suck on left-handers too and it's a great track to practice on. When you get a good rhythm going there it is a fun fun track! HJ
You let people that old on the track or are they just spectating? I've seen how those blue hairs drive. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
Not to jack the thread but money for track days is tight this season for me and I'm debating wether a 6 hour drive to little taly from southern Louisiana is worth it....
Nothing to it. Talladega is the easiest track to learn. If all else fails, turn left. You will be fine almost every time. The track is pretty much flat and there are no blind corners. You will pick it up quickly. It is one of those tracks where you will have it figured out (the lines) within 1-2 sessions. By the end of the first day, you will have picked up 10 seconds. Then you will spend years chasing tenths. I have a metric asston of laps around that place and im still chasing time. I pick up about 0.2-0.3 every time i go.
