Hi Res satellite map Are there 110 volt outlets in the garage? Any food concessions? Any fast food nearby? Running water? Any restrooms or portapotties? And WTF happened here?
yes yes no not sure about the water (assume you mean for RV hook-up?) Restrooms too much throttle at too much lean (can't tell from the video but the pavement transition may have contributed but it doesnt look like he quite made it there yet so probably not)
Thanks. What time is tech inspection and riders briefing? What's the price on tire changes? Why did they build a race track out of concrete?
I am going to guess tech opens at 2 with a meeting around 3:30 but a staff member will have to verify free if buy tires trackside/$20 per if you bring the wheel/$45 per if you bring the bike dunno, lasts longer and needs less maintenance would be my guess
ok im in for sat. so whos gonna show me the fast way around this track. Also what can i bring to add to the boil ?
I would be more than happy to tote you around... As far as the boil anything will do... Sausage Shrimp, Corn ect... We will have a good time and do them both Fri and Sat...
lol well at least the quickest lines. I'm looking forward to a new to me track and counting down the days. looking forward to the boil to.
I use the EBC Extreme Pro pads and love them, they feel a lot better than my stock pads and regular EBC pads did with a lot more initial bite. I picked up a full front set for about $100, I think cheap pads cost about $70 a set. So the difference isn't that much considering how long they last for most of us, so whichever brand you go with, get the best from them. If you're new to the track or on a slower pace, I wouldn't worry about changing your pads out unless they're worn out. As for street usage, I went out and broke these in on the street, they seem to work right away. It's not like they're carbon-ceramic brakes that need lots of heat to give the best braking power. --My 2 cents
Bring it 3 Banger....Just because you won your first WERA Race weekend there dosent mean your head isnt swelling...
I like the Vesrah pads myself. Do you need new pads or are you just upgrading because your hitting the track? If this is your first track day I would just run the OEM pads unless they need replaced anyhow.
I'm running the Vesrah RJLs on both of my track bikes...a 600RR and a 1000RR. They provide excellent stopping power with basically a one finger stopping power. I do run the braided stianless steel lines, so that helps some, but the Vesrahs are a great brake pad and should provide you with more stopping power than you can really utilize.
I would say that for the average trackday, go with Vesrah RJL's and they will do you a very good job. the best thing is that they wear VERY well meaning they last a long time. I am trying out a set of the Vesrah RJL XX pads which are over $200 a set. they seem to have slightly more stopping power than the regular RJL's however i would shy away from them on a trackday since the RJL's are much cheaper and almost as good. The more important factor at hand here is brake lines and fluid. braded lines are a must as you go faster. i ran stock fluid and lines all the way to A group before my brakes failed at Road Atlanta. i now run Speigler lines and Castrol SRF fluid.
