Ok thanks!! It's my first track day at NCM and first track day in 13mo so went novice to be safe and not feel pressured to go fast.

Is this the same Modified Grand Full/Max with the chicane we road with MTD at the beginning of the month?

It should be, that layout was created with input from STT, MCRA, MTD, and probably a handful of other incredibly qualified people that I'm not aware of.

It absolutely is! I'd totally love to run the Grand Max Straight course without the kink just once (not on my 250 though, I think the engine would explode halfway down the straight) but for pretty obvious reasons that's never gonna happen, haha.

    It's still a 170 MPH+ front straight on a literbike...

That's why I said "just once," I was mostly joking. It's plenty fast, I just meant it'd be fun/interesting to experience.

I'll be on this bike so you can give me hell.

I haven't done a track day in a long time so wanted to step down to novice and get my body position and corner entry/exits down better.

I mean if you bump me up half way through the day I won't be mad. :)

Sounds good. I have a 2015 all black bmw and a white and blue 2011 bmw. If you can pass me up on the track then I will bump you to intermediate. Oh wait novice would be empty then. Lol. Can't wait for ncm. I am in Syracuse New York now. I like the hospitality in the south more

Boom! Love the Wounded Warrior Sticker!!! They do FANTASTIC work for our veterans! They have made a world of difference for a young Marine up in Michigan, Cpl Josh Hoffman. A bunch of Marines went up to see him last year, in fact we need to head up and check up on him.

    Sorry for Thread Jacking,

I'm a Vet myself they do a lot for wounded Veterans and even the ones who aren't wounded physically but mentally as well. I'm not affiliated with WWP just building awareness.

You know, if you run the checkered, you owe Trevor a $100 check to the WWP....

Or just donate and don't dump on everyone waiting to get out. Just like those that serve were only beneficial.
