I got some bad news when I was at Barber Sat which really put a damper on the weekend...Garth Tagge and Jim Melly both passed this weekend on the Potomac during some speed trials..I actually think Jim was a WERA or CCS Racer with SV's back in the 90's .. Jim (Garths Mechanic) was always asking about my bikes when I saw him as well as Garth the boat owner. They both were great guys and Garth was my daughters boyfriends Dad...I had the Privilege of getting a ride on this boat last year.. Just an amazing experience... But also spending a lot of good times with both on and off the Lake.. His son and his Mom need some serious thoughts and prayers... It actually made National news and they were trying to hit 200Mph and were both ejected when the boat flipped @ 197 through the trap.. CPR on both to no avail... RIP guys... I will miss you both... God speed....
Damn Marc, that's horrible news....I remember you posting about going for that ride this past summer. Thoughts and prayers for family and friends...R.I.P. fellow racers.
Marc please pass our sincere condolences to the family. ] My prayers go to all effected by this tragedy We sometimes forget our playing can come at a high cost. Lost a friend 3 years ago in a similar accident
RIP to the fallen, thoughts and prayers to the family and friends. Tipping a drink to the brothers and sisters who are addicted to pushing the limits! We are all family no matter what vehicle we choose in our personal pursuit...
I'm sorry to hear this, Marc. My thoughts and prayers are with them and their families. I honor their brave spirit. Godspeed Garth and Jim.
Hey Marc, This kind of news is never good. I'll be praying for you, your daughter, and the family. Loss like this is painful.
Yeah its all over the place now.... I saw it once Sat PM after it happened and it was enough... There are some really rude and crude comments people are putting up... Some people have no respect at all and are just Clueless....
