Some body needs to keep an eye on me. Wife tries too but she don't know where I hide the money. HA HA!!!
not saying you cant handle it, but there are a lot of fast people at barber. nothing wrong with being in the front of novice group. just my 2cents
I agree!!! I agree with Shaun 100%. Not saying your not capible to riding at the intermediate level. But barbers line is technical if u have never been there. Last summer was my first time there and i was in novice. BOTH DAYS...and loved every minute of it. The first day it took me about two sessions to really learn the line and then a couple more to get comfortable. The good thing about the south is a little less stringent...After 2 to 3 sessions they pretty much let u go do your thing as long as u follow a few passing rules...and the classroom time is great help...even if im in intermediate i will prolly still join in to sharpen my skills even more... Novice isnt just a bunch of slow ass riders....There are alot of good riders that are in novice that will surprise u... Jus some info for the noob....wouldnt wanna see nobody get ran over in turn 1 their first day at Barber!!!!! ill be at Barber on May 7-8...Cant wait....keep us posted on how u liked the track.... Peace.....

Not saying I am one of the fastest guys on the road. Or that I would even be in the front. I have another buddy that I have been riding with for YEARS. Me and him are on the same riding level. He rides intermediate at barbers and he also thinks I would be ok in the inter class. I am not a guy that is full of my self when it comes to my riding skills. I am sure I will not be the first one to turn 1 or across the finish line. But I can gaurantee this much. I will be the guy at the end of the day with the big smile on my face.
I learned a few thing in the years I have been riding. (1). Never ride the center of a lane when it is raining. More oil in the center of the road. (2). Don't trust the guy in front of you. His line or his brake light doesn't dictate your capabilities. (3). Never ride someone elses bike unless you are willing to buy it if you wreck it. (4). And if you think you are the fastest or the best rider because you have the nicest bike or gear. Keep looking behind you for the guy on the $500.00 motorcyle with the riped up leathers. Cause you are not all that. That being said. Hope to meet all you guys at the track in March. Looking forward to some new friends and a new experience in motorcycles.
