i was just there yesterday. Fun track. VERY fast, but you do need to hit your marks. A couple blind turns, a "jump" (i didnt know what "jump" everyone was talking about until i knew the line well enough to go faster. its not really a jump just an elevation change that makes your bike light if you go fast enough), a VERY decreasing radius turn (think Summit Jefferson) and some very LOOOOOONG turns.

yep really fun- So nice to have a good track so close to home at last!

Looks like I'm out, maybe for the season. I'm out of work and scrambling to find a project to work on- If anyone needs remodeling work in the Philly area, I'm your man!
    Have fun, everyone!

    Greetings all,

I just joined the forum today.

Sept 1 @ Thunderbolt will be my first trackday with STT and my first day at Thunderbolt. (I'm also signed up for a STT day at Putnam Park day after MotoGP).

    I signed up for Intermediate, I hope I didn't make a mistake
:? I guess I'm scared making a jump from novice. I've ridden in novice for a while, done about 10 trackdays so far over the past 3 years. Ridden at Loudon, VIR, Shenandoah-SummitPoint, and Lightning @ NJMP. In that mix I completed 3 levels with Cali Superbike School.

    I'm looking forward to Thunderbolt

    can't wait for monday,
    Michelle

I think this is a first for alot of people at this track. It is going to be a good time. I will be the guy with the orange Honda RS125. See you and everyone else there on Monday.

    Hey Gang!
Did this course about a week ago(another club). Was only my third TD. Did 2day at Barber in May with STT. Gotta say you guys are great. Excellent novice group. Gonna grab one of you CRs and pick your brain for the day. Need a day of solid basics. look forward to meeting you guys!
I will be on black Triumph 675 with gold rims.

    Michelle,

Based on the experience you listed above my guess is you'll fit in with the Intermediate group just fine.

P.S. Just because you'll be in intermediate doesn't mean you can't make use of the instructors.
